- Protect your eyes.
For those of us not yet suffering with AMD, we need to be aware that there is a genetic element in the propensity to develop AMD, for example everyone in our support group has blue eyes.
3.1 Take Lutein with Ziaxanthin supplement, 10 mg (upto 40 mg) per day from the moment you watch the video. (Not medically proven but I would sincerely recommend it. The video appalled me so do whatever you can.)
3.2 Reduce your exposure to blue light, whether from TV and computer screens, car headlights, glare from the sun,
3.3 Naturally take a balanced diet, rich in kale, spinach etc.
3.4 Wear sunglasses, particularly if you are blue eyed.
3.5 Similarly wear a cap or other protection.
3.6 Keep fighting fit because you will need to actively fight it and also keep your brain fit to fight it.
3.7 Make sure you are up-to-date with smartphones Android or iphone as the technology is brilliant.
