Roles and Tasks of Volunteers
We can’t work without volunteers.
We need a Secretary, a Match secretary, Social Secretary and a We also need volunteers to help us play better.
We have started and need help:

A B1 player needs a pitcher, plus two ball retrievers to get the best experience and the best improvement, B2’s have to wear eye masks for competitions and need the same support,

A simple match between two partially sighted, that is, categories B3 aand B4 needs a scorer/line judge so that they get feedback about their play

Some VI Players need volunteers to play well so that they can improve their game, this is what improves our effective vision and our fitness and agility

We have coaching sessions set up for Monday evenings between 5.30 pm and 7.30 pm and on Tuesday’s between 2.30 pm and 4.30 pm, though wintertime may be different

All VI players and volunteers are in a social network which means that full members will be able to send an email ‘Anyone for tennis’, the volunteers being able to play if it’s suitable
To say thank you we will pay your monthly visitor fees and also as a member of SST give you a contribution to your costs when helping at team ‘away’ events and matches, on the same basis as for VI Players.
